From Milton Keynes to London – Between VW Partner, Guinness Certificate, and London’s Landmarks

Today started with a visit to our partner Volkswagen UK in Milton Keynes. We were warmly welcomed and had an in-depth exchange about the tour so far and our upcoming goals. We also created content for the website and social media, helping to document and share our journey – much like we did during our stop in Ireland.

Afterwards, we continued on to London – more specifically, to the Guinness World Records headquarters. To drive the ID. Buzz into central London, we needed a Congestion Zone permit, which is mandatory in the inner city.

At the Guinness office, we met the entire crew and exchanged updates on the current project. We also received the latest editions of the Guinness World Records books. In addition, we were handed an official eyewitness certificate – another important milestone in the recognition of our world tour.

Before moving on, it was a real pleasure to cruise the ID. Buzz through central London – past the city’s most iconic sights, surrounded by countless other electric vehicles. The inner city truly feels like a quiet showroom for e-mobility.

Next stop: Paris – back to the continent.
