From San Marino via Verona to Liechtenstein – Coffee, Curves, and the Next Country Stop

Today started in San Marino. The next morning, we continued our journey towards Verona. But before the first official meeting of the day, we made the classic stop at an Autogrill – for coffee and a croissant, just as it’s done in Italy.

Refreshed and ready, we headed to our first official appointment of the day: Volkswagen Italy.

Afterwards, we drove along the shores of Lake Garda to the headquarters of Giti Tire Italy. Once again, we were warmly welcomed and had the chance to exchange insights about the project and share experiences from the tour so far.

Following a short stop, we continued on toward Switzerland – passing the Lago Maggiore and crossing the beautiful San Bernardino Pass, a true highlight of the route with its winding roads and breathtaking views.

Once we arrived in Liechtenstein, we checked off another milestone: the last microstate in Europe.

From there, we continued straight on towards Austria.

Next stop: Salzburg.
