From Aktau to Beyneu

After a long three weeks of waiting, the moment finally arrived: our ID. Bus rolled off the ferry in Kuryk. Shortly after, I was able to pick up Jan, our cameraman, at Aktau airport. At last, the team was complete again – and the ID.Buzz World Tour was back on the road!

We left Aktau under brilliant sunshine. Ahead of us stretched the endless Kazakh desert – a landscape so barren and yet so fascinating that it’s hard to look away. Along the way, we met two Italians who were instantly intrigued by our project. A quick chat, some photos – and then the journey continued.

Of course, the ever-present companions were there too: horses and camels grazing by the roadside, embodying the calm of this vast land. One of the highlights was a visit to a Kazakh man proudly showing us his silver tooth – a small but memorable encounter that will stay with us.

In Aktau, we charged the ID.Buzz at 80 kilowatts before heading off towards Beyneu. At one point, we also relied on our mobile charging station from Stoida – and it worked perfectly. It felt reassuring to be so independent on the road.
