Jinghong Reveries and the Farewell at Mohan

Our last afternoon in Jinghong was spent with the wonderful team from Giti Tire, who joined us in capturing scenes from the vibrant city. Together we created a snapshot of memories—the colours, the bustle, and the charm of Jinghong laid out in our photographs.

By evening, our journey led us south to Mohan, the border station where China finally yielded to Laos. It was here, in the gentle quiet of morning, that we faced the moment of farewell—not only to China, but to my loyal companions. My deep gratitude goes out to my guide, Mr Wang, and our photographer Jack, whose unwavering support and camaraderie made this month-long odyssey across China both possible and exceptional.
