Day 240 from Johannesburg to Eswatini and Mosambik

📅 26. TH February 2026 📍Johannesburg, South Afrika

Crossing Borders in Southern Africa

Africa proves to be the ideal continent for advancing our world record project. Many countries lie in close proximity to one another, allowing efficient travel across relatively short distances. Our route therefore took us to Lesotho, Mozambique, and Eswatini — three neighboring nations, each with its own distinct cultural and geographical identity.

From Mozambique, we continued across South Africa on well-developed roads toward Gaborone, Botswana. In the mountains around Mbombela, we unexpectedly encountered a Porsche Race Club on a group drive — a dynamic contrast to our fully electric long-distance mission.

In Rustenburg, we said goodbye to our final fast-charging station and continued steadily westward, setting our course for the next country on our African journey.
