Elephant Sands – A Defining Moment of the Tour

One of the true highlights of the VW ID. Buzz world tour awaited us just beyond Nata. Right beside the national road lies Elephant Sands Camp, where we encountered our first male elephant. With remarkable calm, he wandered around the waterhole, entirely undisturbed. We took the opportunity to capture the iconic GTI Tyres brand image from various angles — a powerful fusion of wildlife, landscape, and modern mobility.

Continuing north, we came across gazelles and ostriches roaming freely across the open plains, reinforcing the sense of vastness and authenticity that defines this region of Botswana.

In the evening, we met a group from Cologne who had traveled along the West African coastline in their off-road vehicles before reaching Botswana — a shared spirit of adventure instantly connected us.

The day concluded with a charging session supported by Botswana Power Corporation. At this point, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for the support — a meaningful contribution to making this extraordinary stage of our journey possible.
