From Paris to Lisbon – Three Countries, Two Partner Stops, and a New Charging Record

After the hustle and bustle of Paris, we headed straight south – destination: Madrid. There, we were warmly welcomed in the morning by our partner Volkswagen Spain, along with Giti Tire and a representative from IFM. Over a relaxed exchange and a hearty breakfast, we shared impressions, answered questions – and of course, showed off the ID. Buzz.

After our stop in Madrid, we continued on to Lisbon – the westernmost point of Europe, and also the most westerly location of the ID. Buzz World Tour on the European continent.

Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Volkswagen Portugal and our sponsors – including GT Tire once again – with a delicious evening dinner. It was the perfect opportunity to reflect on the journey so far and look ahead to the next stages in a relaxed setting.

We left Lisbon by crossing the iconic Vasco da Gama Bridge, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean – with the satisfying feeling of having already crossed half of Europe.

This leg of the tour also brought a technical highlight: on the way to Lisbon, we hit a new tour record with charging speeds of up to 198 kW – the highest so far.

Next stops: Andorra, Monaco, and finally the Vatican City.
