From Hamburg to Oslo – First Border, First Sea, First Partner Visit

Today marked the next stage of the ID. Buzz World Tour, starting in Hamburg. Right at the beginning, we had an important visit with one of our tour partners: Autolink.

Autolink supports us in planning the route through the Caucasus region and in organizing the ferry crossing over the Caspian Sea – a key partner for the logistically challenging parts of the journey. We were warmly welcomed on site by Alex and Claudia. A big thank-you to both of you!

Afterwards, we took the opportunity for a quick sightseeing tour through Hamburg before continuing on toward Denmark.

On the way, we stopped to charge in Flensburg before crossing the first international border of the tour. Just past the border, we met two Danish shop assistants who kindly confirmed our crossing – an important detail for documenting the route.

Upon arriving in Copenhagen, we met with the team from Volkswagen Denmark at a stylish, urban charging station with an attached street food spot, right in the heart of the city. The station features a 150-kilowatt superfast charger, which we used to charge the ID. Buzz on site. In perfect weather, everyone enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere – and the unmistakable vibe of the Danish summer.

Late in the evening, we crossed the Øresund Bridge from Denmark into Sweden – marking our arrival in the second country of the journey.
