Along the Coast to Uitenhage

We continued south toward East London. The route took us through vast green pastures where farmers were grazing their goats and sheep — a მშვიდ and open landscape that reminded us of Georgia.

In East London, we reached one of the most beautiful charging stations of our journey so far, offering uninterrupted views of the ocean. From there, we continued toward Uitenhage, passing through Hamburg and Port Alfred — small yet memorable stops along the coastline.

Late in the evening, we once again arrived by the sea. A brief 40 kW charging stop next to a restaurant gave us the opportunity to recharge the vehicle and unwind over a good steak. Very late that night, we finally reached Uitenhage — full of anticipation for our visit to the VW plant the following morning.
