After two months at sea, the container carrying the ID. Buzz finally arrived in New York. We were incredibly happy to see the vehicle again, especially because it had successfully crossed both the Atlantic and Indian Oceans without any damage.

The Volkswagen customs department and Kuehne + Nagel USA did an excellent job handling the import process and getting the car smoothly into the United States. We used the weekend to enjoy a longer stay in Manhattan, surrounded by beautiful sunny spring weather.

Now we are finally ready to begin our journey across the American continent — fully electric.

In the evening, we drove to Boston to start our adventure.
