Welcome to Managua

If every country on our route were as small as the one we crossed yesterday, the world record for visiting the most countries in an electric vehicle would be finished within just a few weeks.

It was a day of constant border crossings, accompanied by plenty of bureaucracy and paperwork. Along the roads in Nicaragua, we also saw many horses. In Honduras and El Salvador, we used every J1772 charger we could find along the route.

It was not easy to find a CCS1 charger in Managua, but the German Ambassador, Karsten Warnecke, gave us a valuable tip on where to find one.

By entering Costa Rica in the night, we knew that only two more nights remained before we completed our journey through Central America.
