Arriving Lima

We crossed the northern part of Peru all the way to Lima in an almost non-stop drive. Along the route, we saw very funny trucks with human haircuts and religious motifs. One particular highlight was a bus from Passau, Germany, carrying tourists through Peru and Ecuador.

In Chimbote, we had the opportunity to charge using a three-phase connection at a local electrical workshop before arriving in Lima the next morning for our presentation with Volkswagen and Giti Tire. Thank you very much to both teams for hosting us. It was great to showcase our ID.Buzz, especially to the Volkswagen classic enthusiasts who came with their Beetles and T2s.

In the evening, we headed on to Nazca.
