Arriving Arequipa

To arrive in Chile, we had to head back into the Andes to charge in Arequipa at an altitude of 2,000 meters. This, the second-largest Inca city in Peru, has a long history of water distribution throughout the city and is surrounded by snow-covered volcanoes.

We used our three-phase charging stop to take some pictures at Volkswagen before continuing at night toward the Chilean border and back down to sea level.

We are looking forward to using our first high-voltage charger since Panama.
