Our last days in Brazil started with an astonishing presentation at a Giti Tire dealer distribution center on the coast of Itajaí, where we were surrounded by high walls with hundreds of tires. 

After that, we drove north towards São Paulo, passing along the coast of Santos where we saw the rough ocean again on a rainy morning. On the way up to São Paulo, we took a highway that crossed a beautiful small green foggy rain forest area. 

 

In the following days, we had a presentation at Maxion Wheels and two events at the Volkswagen factory in São Paulo, a massive and historic factory from 1952. The presentation brought together all the sponsors of the project, and the ID.Buzz looked great among the classic VW Kombi models on display in the exhibition room. After that, we drove to Sorocaba for a meeting with the TÜV NORD team.

 

The final stage of our journey in Latin America was to drive back to Santos to ship our ID.Buzz by container vessel to Morocco over the Atlantic Ocean. A huge thanks to Volkswagen and Giti Tire in Latin America for hosting us and supporting us along the way from Mexico to here.
